This yarn is so soft, lovely little marshmallow balls. The price is very good, there seems to be enough yarn to weave a whole thin sweater. The yarn breaks easily so be careful with the tension, but there seems to be enough wool in the fiber to make a askew joint and I appreciate that. The yarn is very shiny and a bit slippery. The skein winds up easily, you may need to use a ball winder, but be careful with the tension. Despite the low price, I would say that this yarn is not suitable for beginners due to its brittleness and thickness. It doesn't really bother me. Label is missing meter and recommended needle information. I figured I'd have to pull out my scale and count until I looked at the product listing. As always, Revain is a little over the top in its packaging philosophy, which is to be expected at this point. The yarn came clean, dry and with no noticeable odors. I really liked the crochet pattern. I'm not sure what needles I'm going to use next.
