I'll start by saying I've never had a portable monitor before, so my rating is based solely on that. I connected the monitor to the following devices: 1. Switch2. Apple MacBook M1 Pro3. Laptop running Windows 4. Roku Ultra The first device I connected to was a MacBook M1 Pro and wasn't surprised that the display was a bit dim after fiddling with the Mac settings to fit it to the device adjust, it looked better. All other devices look fine without fumbling with settings. For me, at least, the brightness is better than the Mac on all other devices, leading me to trust its settings, but then again, the new Macbook Pro screen is hard to beat. The cons are: 1. Speaker volume is low when you need to crank the volume up to really hear something, but most portable displays don't have volume, so it's better than nothing. The magnets on the lid aren't strong enough to make it fall off, it doesn't take long. Overall this is good value for money and a handy item if you need a screen to connect to your device.
