Exactly what I need to be able to work from anywhere.

Since my work has become completely remote, I was looking for something that would help me to be truly remote, to travel and work from this place. However, to really do this I need two monitors to be effective as I have those on my home workstation. Also, unfortunately, my laptop's resolution is low, so I need another monitor to get the job done. I love it. Screen as the resolution is high enough to get what I want but not so high that the screen is too small to use. This comes into play especially when it comes to the ability to drag windows from screen to screen or when using Citrix where Windows text needs to be the same size on two screens. At 1080, that's just the right amount to allow you to increase the size without completely destroying the smaller screen. I recommend increasing this size, otherwise the font will become quite small. However, this screen is very sharp with good picture quality and clarity. I turned the brightness and sharpness all the way up and also increased the contrast a bit. It took me a second to figure out the fall/stand. Basically keep a crease on the back of the monitor so the bottom is facing in. When you use it, put it face down and lift it up, and you can slide the monitor base into the crease of either of the two front folds according to the angle you want. If you use the rear one, you can stack the smaller ones on top of each other to reinforce the front and keep it stable. Once I figured it out, it works surprisingly well and I don't think it's going to budge at all now. I'm glad I bought this model with improved color support as I don't see any drastic differences from my main monitor. I'm still designing better cabling solutions, USB-C isn't a problem for anything that supports it, and I can power my monitor and then my laptop with a significant amount of power using just two minimal cables and a PD power supply. for a laptop. The monitor generally consumes very little power. I'm still figuring out the ideal cable configuration for my wife's Surface Pro. The mini DisplayPort to USB-C cable I bought didn't work for video streaming, so I'm looking for other options that connect to mini HDMI instead. It worked with the included cable and adapter which I have for their home setup. I'm hoping to find some cable options that are a little thinner than the HDMI provided for travel and maybe a little more flexible. It fits perfectly, but any slight deviation at the beginning of the placement can mean that it is far from center on the other side. Then removing the air bubbles can be a trick if you had to try reconfiguring multiple times. We'll be running a test case next month, although I took it with me on a recent trip and found it to be very portable and easy to use. Be sure to check and buy quality USB-C cables to make sure they can transfer power and also to make sure they work with video. At first I just tried using the regular high-speed charging cables I had, but you really need to get the ones with high data rates and power ratings to make sure they work. They don't cost much, but just get the best you can. Performance worked with no issues, but I had to have 3.1 Gen 2 to make sure the video worked.
