When my toilet broke I noticed a ball attached to the end of the cord. The ball was on the pedal. In the original part, two balls were attached to the cable. One on top next to the hose package and one near the pedal. Mine is broken at the top. When you order this item you will find that there is only ONE ball attached to it. Instead of two balls but with 4 VERY SMALL rings with set screws. Those tiny collars won't hold anything. After installing a clamp, he immediately detached. So I tightened again and added another collar. It worked! Less than 24 hours. Both terminals loosened, the wires frayed. A piece of junk. This whole Thetford toilet is junk. Bad design. cheap parts.
