I've been to a lot of my friends backyards and most of them have these pendant lights. I didn't want to be the one missing out on the party so I bought this set for myself. The filament/wire is strong enough to easily support its own weight and the weight of the bulbs. I use wire light holders all over my garden to keep them going. For parts that need more light, I use regular cable ties. The light I have has a warm glow because it's used at night and I didn't want bright lights to spoil the atmosphere. The remote control function is convenient to use. When I get back in the house, I just turn them off so no light comes into the house. It had rained a few times before and to be honest I was a bit nervous that they might short out and thank goodness they didn't.
