A bit of work but worth it, hire a helper and things will be easier

These are very good bushings but be prepared for a tricky installation! I installed all of this on a '94 Chevy K1500 4x4 with a 350/5.7 liter engine and manual transmission. First tip is to compare the new and old gearbox mount, there is an extra piece of metal that would make the new one bigger and I've searched the internet and others seem to think it's true and liked me too , instead of installing the part . On to the real work! Engine mounts, Chevy made them difficult to remove for some reason, I have an engine lift so this part was easy, but the long bolts are difficult to access, especially on the driver's side when the front differential and oil filter fit in. Path. I ended up using a socket/hinge/extensions, a percussion gun and a wrench to take it off and put it back on. Then you have to remove 3 bolts on each bracket and there wasn't an easy way for me, there are nuts under the frame which are very difficult to access and remove, I didn't have any help but if you can ask someone to tighten or loosen , which makes work much easier. Check out the instructions that came with your motor mounts to learn how to repurpose an old grapple, drill press, and vise to make the job pretty easy. All this took me about 4 hours, of which more than 80% went to the engine bearings. Overall I think it was worth it as the engine mounts were probably original which are about 20 years old and almost 200k on them. My issue was the noise and perceived movement of the engine/transmission during hard acceleration or high rev shifts being reduced, but I need more time to really appreciate the improvement.
