Review on DIY Sliding Barn Wood Door Kit - Pre-Drilled And Ready To Assemble - Natural Solid Spruce Wood - Interior Single Door - Fit 4FT Rail by Fredo Zhan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Please read my entire review.I gave these a 5 but.

I bought 3 of these. 2)36" and 1) 42". Had I only purchased the 2)36's I would be telling you this was the EASIEST "Assembly required" item I had ever done. They are well cut and extremely easy to assemble. But the 42" gave me a lot of grief. There seemed to be a little humidity that caused a SMALL amount of warping. But that made assembly much more difficult. I was lucky that I own some cheap, but long, clamps (Harbor Freight $20) And that made all the difference. I assembled the two 36 in first.Super easy. But I might have sent the entire batch back if I had reversed the order, based on the 42 in. I saved about $600 on premade doors, so it was worth the trouble. You dont need to be "Mr Handy" to assemble them. But a little skill with a hammer drill is a good thing. One final thought. The 36 in doors are 36x80. The other is 42x 84! 4 inches taller! Something I didnt realize until I was done assembling and stood it up. All 3 of these go on the same wall. I am not sure how I will make it look correct with a 4 inch difference. So beware if you are mixing and matching.

We couldn’t be happier with the purchase of this door! The wood was straight, not twisted or warped and assembled easily needing no adjustments. We found the same door at Home Depot and Lowe’s for almost $100 more than what we paid for this one. Thank you Best Buy!
