AVOID THIS DEVICE IF YOU HAVE A GMC OR CHEVY TRUCK!

I used this system on my station wagon trailer, a 2020 Silverado 1500 Crew and Grand Design 2670MK. It worked great right out of the box, the only problem was that it ONLY works on the pre-wiring when I have my chases on (NOT Furrion's fault). But it was easy to find out. Fast forward 5 months and I just upgraded my truck to a Silverado 2500 Crew and the camera no longer works with the new truck?!?! I pulled the camera out of the back, connected it to the same power cable on the monitor and it synced perfectly. Back on the trailer and nothing. 13.4 volts confirmed on the power line at the trailer socket when the light is on. UPDATE 03/24/2021: Downgraded to 1 star as I didn't get any contact from Furrion after the device stopped working. Avoid this backup camera as it only lasted two trips and then died. For $600 it lasts for YEARS! I got a reply from Furrion and they refuse to replace or refund. Avoid this brand at all costs. Terrible product support. UPDATE 05/23/2021: In March I ordered a Furrion FR74FR adapter from eTrailer which should enable the camera to work directly with my truck. There is no delivery date information from Furrion or eTrailer yet. You guess September. Furrion refuses to refund money for camera. Furrion refuses to endorse their product. They take your money and laugh at you for being stupid enough to buy their shoddy products that have NOT been road tested on a LARGE percentage of trucks.
