I have a closet door that I prefer to keep closed most of the time. Wife and kids leave it open all the time. So I surprised her! :) In general, I'm happy with it. It was easy to install, and while it doesn't fully close the door (and I knew it couldn't. It takes some effort to fully latch the door), it does close the door. close enough for me The only real problem was that it left a pothole on the door despite a small rubber bumper/tread. It's in a closet so I'm not overly concerned, but if you're using it in a more conspicuous area be aware that it could likely scratch your door.
