🦋 Optimized Ultra Spring Door Closer with Butterfly Spring (68405) Review

It takes about two minutes to install once you know how. The instructions on the box aren't very helpful, so here's a 30 second video showing how it looks after installation. At this point it should be easy. We are very happy.

I bought this door closer spring for my upstairs office so my cat wouldn't leave the door wide open and drain all the heat or air conditioning. It cannot happen because the spring tension is too strong. In addition, the spring itself will damage the wall and door where it hits it. I had to use the box it came in to fill. This pen is too heavy for my needs.

Oh my god this is the best thing I've bought in a long time! My kids would always run outside to play and would leave my back door wide open for all the flies and bees to get in. It drove me crazy! This door closer was just what I needed. It's very affordable and I was able to "install" it in a minute. There is little information on the box on how to install the device, but after reading the Revain reviews, I clearly understood what to do. Simply lift the pin on one of the door hinges and push in. It is so easy. I used to use screw caps and while they worked well, I hated the installation work and the damage it caused. With this pen none of this is a problem and the results are identical.
