Works better than I thought!
Easier to install with two people. You press the pen. Another lowers the door hinge pin into the hole in the door hinge. A lot more pressure to close the door than I thought. We use it on the outside back door of the patio where the grandchildren left it open over a dozen times at a family gathering last weekend. This cheap but very functional door closing spring solved the problem. Of course, this is NOT a decorative door closer. It looks like a feather. But no holes, no screws, etc. I put felt pads under the ends of the spring, although they come with a metal inlay.
