Review on πŸ”ͺ Lansky QuadSharp Sharpener QSHARP by Ronnie Toups

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Convenient sharpener - no manual start required.

This is for those who want a sharp knife quickly and don't see sharpening as an art. practically. On the other hand, if you want to cut something other than paper and hair with your knives, this sharpener will do the trick. That's hard metal, it's only slightly less hard than diamond. It doesn't matter what exotic steel your knife is made of. This will sharpen it. What I really like about this sharpener is that it has a wider angle than the standard 22 degrees. There are multiple angles to choose from, allowing you to choose what you need for the knife and the task. A fillet knife and an ax require different sharpening angles, and this sharpener works for both. Use a light touch. Carbide sharpeners are notorious for Neanderthals with clumsy fists pushing and pulling a knife like starting a lawn mower. If you have a pile of shredded steel under your sharpener, you are using it incorrectly. You can literally put a knife on the carbide and pull, that's all the pressure the carbide needs to sharpen your knife. I have Diamond, India, Arkansas and Coticule and no longer see a reason to use them on my knives. This makes the work much faster. Get this sharpener, use a light touch and enjoy using your knife.
