I started by washing part of the car but because of the ease of use I ended up washing the whole car. I recommend using at least 3 microfiber towels and wearing gloves as my hands were dirty after I finished. This is my first time using a product like this so I think I overdid it a bit. You should slightly dampen a part of your car, wipe with a cloth and buff dry with another cloth. wax and wax. It left my car with a nice clean shine. Works better when cleaning my car than in one of those brushless car washes. I used about a quarter bottle to clean my little sedan but went a little overboard.
