Damn! This little thing costs $4. I mean did I almost glue my fingers together? Yes, but do you have a Ph.D. in crime prevention? Psst, didn't think so. Anyway, I needed this to make a vermicompost container (I cut holes in the container and glued gauze to the holes) and so far it's worked great. Glue, on the other hand, goes through very, very quickly. I've used all but one glue stick and not sure if it's just me or what, but the glue cools almost immediately as soon as you insert it. I usually have about 5 seconds before it starts to get tacky and then hardens. But it's almost instantaneous, so I'm not sure if the glue or the guns are the problem. But for smaller projects I think it's great when you're an adult. Not for children, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUR CHILD. Or, if you're a kid at heart, don't. Unless you have a much more responsible adult who can help, resist the young person. I wish I could.
