Review on ๐Ÿฑ Bentgo Fresh Blue 4-Compartment Portion Control Lunch Box by Paul Dye

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lovely, a bit awkward for a 4 year old? Edit: works fine!

I bought these for my 4 year old preschooler. The first thing that struck me is that this is a nice lunch box but it is very big and heavy for a 4 year old. It has a lot to eat. Much, maybe better for older children. Regarding the sealing, I think it can prevent liquid from spilling out of the box, but not between compartments. So if you had crackers in one and pasta with sauce in the other, you could end up with wet crackers. I will report after further use. It is very easy to clean, assemble and assemble for adults. Children may have difficulty closing the lid. My only son has trouble closing the box so we'll see if he breaks the box or not. If you don't close the lid properly, it won't click into place. If your child tries to slam it shut when it's not properly closed, the hinges may break. I have twins, one son closed everything normally while the other has difficulties. In general I'm happy. I was looking for something simpler and didn't find it. I'll try that for a while and let you know if I have anything to add. I also bought a rubber block pack. I want to compare. Edit: I've been using it for a week, the guys love it, they don't complain about the weight at all. I found a downside. There are many gaps when you take off the tray. Make sure it's dry so mold doesn't grow on it.
