Review on Circular saw Makita HS7601, 1200 W blue/silver by Wiktor Malczyk ᠌

There are a few bugs, basically the norm.

The next story in the family was a Makita 5008MG saw (210 disc) an excellent tool, but not my own, and a little big for my tasks. I buy a makita with a circle of 190, everything is not bad, there is a bit of a lack of power, but you can live. At one fine moment, a screw comes across in the board and the disk becomes unusable. We go to the store and buy what was at 190, the cutting speed drops by half, the saw does not pull, the original is clearly needed. And where can I get it? Try to find a Makita 190 disc with 12 teeth (the same shape as the factory one) you will not succeed. It seems like take not the original for 12 teeth, but they have a cutting thickness of 2.6mm makita 2.0mm, which also affects the speed. The saw does not have enough power for 24-18 teeth. By some miracle I found the original in the store for 1500r, someone bought a saw and said that the disc was not needed. And yet, there are no symbols for adjusting the depth of cut, you have to set it on a tape measure. The result today would not take a makita, for such a price you get golovniks, 1200 watts in 190 circles is not enough. When choosing a saw, I advise you to take 1400W + with electronic motor overload protection, which will prevent the failure of the electrical part.

Pros
  • Lightweight, ergonomic, quality casting of aluminum parts, soft cable (does not freeze), workmanship, repair service, platform made of thick aluminum sheet (not stamping that bends).
Cons
  • Little power! The price of saws, spare parts, consumables. There are no indications for adjusting the depth of cut, the aluminum platform leaves marks on the wood.
