It works so well. Worms and crickets hid under the old carpet. But we put tape around the edge and I make a nice border. Stop spending money on living food. Green is attractive to the bearded dragon and it is easy for him to eat. No "fluffiness" gets into its mouth. When he needs cleaning we use a small shop vacuum and remove all the droppings. We'll wash and reuse it once or twice to extend its life, but we haven't done that yet so I don't know how it will perform yet. But overall it's great!
