AG-S110 vs AG-S100

I have two pairs of AG-S100 but I needed extra 3D glasses so the whole family can enjoy 3D movies on the LG 55LX6500. I bought the AG-S110 from Onecall.com because it has the best price at $39.99 vs. $80 for the AG-S100. So what is the difference between AG-S100 and AG-S110? The AG-S110 delivers sharper, less blurry images and less ghosting than the AG-S100. One feature I like about the AG-S100 is that it automatically darkens the glasses by detecting if there is bright light in the room or not. This automatic dimming function does not apply to the AG-S110. Basically, I tested the glasses on the same part as at the beginning of the 3D film Rapunzel: Tangled on a Sony Blu-ray BDP-S770, HDMI caliber Denon AKHM300. By the way, you can't connect the HDMI cable from the 3D Blu-ray to the receiver instead of the TV because the 3D TV doesn't recognize the 3D signal going through the receiver. I need to run an HDMI cable from a 3D Blu-ray to a 3D TV and connect audio to the receiver via optical. Not all HDMI cables support 3D signals.
