I am really surprised at the poor marketing of this unique core receiver. Most drill bits I've seen don't have depth markings. Why? You don't need them because they completely penetrate the fetus. This unique pit has a small blade that allows you to cut the pit into the fruit at a specific depth and remove the pit to that depth. This keeps the bottom of the fruit intact. For baked apples, this allows you to fill the core with butter, cinnamon, nuts, brown sugar, etc. without pouring it into the bottom of the fruit. Seriously, why isn't that a major selling point?
