Excellent buy! - my new review

Love it and the company. I live in the tropics. And if you know anything about the Caribbean in rainy season, you know the wind and rain will eat up any umbrella, large or small. I have lost many over the years. I'v also spent a lot of time getting soaking wet because my umbrella was too small. I couldn't take it anymore. Researched and found EEZ-Y. Sounded good, so I decided to give it a try. My first reaction was that it was a little long. I'm 5'7" and holding it straight down with the handle, it touched the ground. But that was not a big problem. When I took it out in the rain, it held, but one of the pieces on the end of the spoke popped off. I was disappointed and vented, not expecting anything except to be ignored as some companies do with customers. But not EEZ-Y. They wrote me back the kindest, most concerned letter apologizing and noting, understandably that sometimes one small thing can go wrong. But they offered to send me another at no cost and did not require that I return the umbrella I had. Wow. Is this real. Hard to believe. And a relief, since sending it back would have been quite costly. When I received it, the handle (which I hadn't mentioned to them) was shorter and the perfect length. Nothing touched the ground. I could swing with joy. It is both attractive and sturdy. Over the past week, Grenada has had torrential rains and high winds. I've been using the umbrella with no problems whatsoever. In fact, I have been able to shelter my friends with it as well. It can easily fit two persons under with "EEZ." That said, if you want a good strong umbrella from a company you can trust, buy from EEZ-Y. And no, they did not pay me for the review.

Pros
  • Umbrellas
Cons
  • The umbrella may not be durable enough to last more than a few years
