Well made but poorly designed
With feet high at the bottom of the basket, you have to add (and discard) nearly an inch of oil to the pan before it makes contact with the food. You'll need to use your legs to raise the basket off the bottom of the pot a little to avoid over-browning, but this basket is wasteful.
