Likes to jump out of the mount

Avoid this quick release kit when participating in activities. I lost my Garmin 305 this morning because it jumped out of my wrist strap while I was wearing a jacket and carrying one of my children. Because of the coat and the child in his arms, I didn't notice his absence. So far nobody has gotten past the Garmin. It has very limited usability without a charger so I might return it but I'm very upset that it even showed up. 305 and this running and cycling set. He says that when he runs, he just pops out for no reason. I also use this kit on my stroller and love it there. At this point he's unlikely to hit anything causing him to pop out, and he's almost always in my line of sight, so I'll know right away if he's missing. Another disadvantage is that the plastic becomes brittle in the cold, two bike racks broke when detaching the GPS from the bike or stroller in the cold. I recommend buying a bike rack for the 405, 310 etc. Grab it and the Garmin 305 fits on it easily and is much more secure when working and/or moving between events.
