Review on Calphalon Premier Space Saving Nonstick Kitchen & Dining by Kristine Schmidt

Great frying pan that doesn't take up much space in the kitchen

Here are the pros and cons that I have found using this set over the last 19 days have: Pros – Incredibly good for saving kitchen cabinet space (very useful for small kitchens). Heat dissipation is fantastic and it's really comfortable to cook on. minuses. Unfortunately it is difficult to clean. While the pan is non-stick, the screws (round bits of metal) in the pan certainly won't stick. Even if I rub olive oil on them, they leave a lot of dirt on them. What makes cleaning difficult is the fact that non-stick pans require soft sponges to clean them without damaging them, making it even more annoying to get rid of anything that's stuck to it. A month ago there was a splinter of non-stick coating on one of the pans. I never put it in the dishwasher (although it's supposedly safe) and always wait until it's completely cool to clean it with a soft sponge. I then let them dry immediately so they don't stand in the water, which supposedly can damage the nonstick coating over a period of time. Even then, the pan I usually use once a day (so about 19 times now) already has a chipped nonstick coating. (Photos attached) I'll edit this post in the future if anything changes, but overall I think it's worth it if you really don't have a lot of space to store your pots and pans. But if you're just looking for a quality non-stick pan that will last you for years, you should probably look elsewhere.
