Can't tell how effective these springs are as I only installed them today. However, I discovered a trick that makes installation much easier when trying to fit the rear spring tab into the rear bracket slot on the car's frame. Use a 1-1/2" or 2" stiff spatula. Wash one side with liquid soap. Insert the knife into the back of the hanger with the soapy side toward the rubber spring. Make sure you position the spatula straight up and down. With the other hand, grasp the spring and pull it back. The SumoSpring slides over the spatula and squeezes the back tab. Once in the holder, pull the spatula straight down while still holding the spring case. The tab fits into the rear slot of the holder once the knife is pulled out.
