Review on πŸ”§ UltraBEND Brake Line Tubing by S.U.R. and R Auto Parts: Superior 1/4-Inch Solution for Efficient Auto Repairs by Jason Masango

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That's great!

This is the second roll of this size that I have ordered. I used the first to replace rotted brake lines on my truck and needed more for the second car. That's great! To uncoil it, simply place your foot on the end of the roll and then roll it out across the concrete, leaving a fairly straight section of pipe. You can then cut it to length and bend it with your hands to fit the dimensions of the original part you are replacing. It cuts and stretches like a dream and snaps into place without too much effort. Because it is an alloy and not pure copper, it will not become brittle or break like regular copper tubing. The only (small) minus is that the tube fades over time with a slight blue tint. You don't need to worry as it will not "rott" like the steel pipe you are replacing. It holds pressure well when braking the car with no signs of leakage. About 2 years have passed since the first roller was commissioned and no problems have arisen. Bottom line, GOOD MATERIAL! Much better than the OEM steel tubing my cars came with.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
