Bought 2 of these to use with hanging 5 gallon camping water bags. They worked great the first time I lifted full water bags 7-8 times and weighed just under 40lbs when almost full. Then they began to tie a little, strongly pulled. After a few more 40lb lifts, they stopped working, no weight, they didn't move in any direction, with or without a button pressed. Update: Drilled out the top rivet and took it apart. A screw appears holding both sides of the pulley together, loosens, and then the green knob and ratchet/racquet gears have no room to loosen because the rope pulls the two sides of the pulley apart. Tighten the bolt holding the two pulley sections together, add some silicone grease to some areas and reinstall the bolt/nut in place of the rivet. Works fine again. You can put some thread lock on the center bolt/nut that holds the pulleys together if this happens again.
