Great idea - works well. Although there are a few complaints. 1 - The supplied cable is too short. A simple touch of the cable, which is taut and at a slight angle, often resets our Mini. This isn't usually a problem, other than plugging it into an outlet next to the switch so it can be touched. We even restarted it once by simply turning off the lights next to it. I'm concerned about the voltage the cable puts on the micro USB port. I've had phones and tablets where the micro USB connector has worn out with much less stress. 2. The description says "Dot Genie Mini Backpack installs in seconds, works with VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL outlets, and won't block a second plug." Unless you have just a small plug underneath, it blocks it quite a bit. We didn't find anything we use in the bathroom (shaver charger, hair dryer, toothbrush charger, night light) that could be plugged in at the same time. Other than those issues, it's perfect.
