Best Bang For Buck is good for cars and car electronics

I ordered this head unit to replace the stock head unit in my 2016 FRS. This head unit is much better than the factory touchscreen unit. I've spent a lot of time comparing Android devices on Amazon to determine which one works best for me. Having a newer car, I wanted to make sure I could keep all the features in my car. Quality: The front glass panel looks very clean, similar to factory cars. The performance is high (2GB ROM / 16GB RAM). Installation: With the appropriate adapters as shown in the 4th photo, I was able to get my OEM USB, OEM rear camera and OEM subwoofer working. In terms of assembly, this head unit is not a traditional deep back head unit. The base of this main unit is flat. To trim the dash, I took the supplied L-brackets and attached them to my original brackets with wing nuts and bolts, allowing me to adjust the distance from the dash to the main unit. I routed the GPS sensor through the dash, through my A-pillar, and onto the windshield. The cable is not very long, 2-3 meters. So plan carefully where you want to install the GPS sensor. If your car has a factory amp installed, make sure to enable the AMP-C function in the settings when you turn it on for the first time, and then enable the AMP widget. Otherwise your factory amp will not send any sound, you only need to do this once. USE: I drive 40 miles round trip every day, combining freeway and downtown traffic. So far I use Waze and Spotify at the same time and it works very well. I don't think there's a split screen feature, but when the songs change it shows up as a temporary notification at the top of the screen. I also downloaded YouTube to the device and it works fine. So far no problems with any application. The unit comes standard with KMH, send them a message on Facebook and they will send you an upgrade file in MPH if needed. Waze is great to use, there are no lags and the GPS signal is very accurate. Bluetooth has an A2DP function. So if you choose to play songs from your phone via Bluetooth, the song title will be displayed. This unit also added colored backup lines for my rear camera, a feature I didn't have on my OEM main unit. Sound quality is crisper than standard, which is particularly noticeable in the mids and lows where bass tends to drown out the sound. Additional features: There is an option for Mirrorlink, it works. I personally don't use it. If you want to use Apple Car Play/Android Auto, you can purchase a dongle separately and insert it into one of the two USB ports. There are several RCA video in/out ports on the back of the main unit, which are not used for the rear camera. So you can add extra monitors to your car if you want. If you want, you can also connect a game console. There's also an option for a USB camera if you're thinking of connecting a dashcam directly to the head unit. Yes, you can choose any branded logo for your startup from the selection, you can even choose your own image if you like. I have received many questions and compliments about this device.
