The minimum and maximum temperatures displayed represent the current range of temperatures being sensed by the sensor. You must enter setup mode to view the minimum and maximum alarm values. It's easy to program, but it's not very clear that the temperatures set for the alarm aren't the ones displayed. MAX and MIN temperatures for sensors hundred times.
