Review on Dorman 924 017 Splash Shield by Justin Cage
Not suitable for Jetta ALH engine.
The part claims to fit the ALH Jetta and while it's very close, it doesn't. it lacks the curve shown in red in the photo showing the original and this one (below). The kink is key to making it snug so it fits around the pipe that goes to the turbo intercooler. In addition, the plastic is significantly more brittle than original OEM plastic. any effort and it cracks easily.
