Review on 🚰 Aquasana 3 Stage Chrome Water Filter System: Ultimate Filtration for Pure, Refreshing Water by Judy Spillman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Okay, but the faucet is ridiculously short.

I have a Watts Premier Pure system that has worked well for 8 years. I probably wouldn't but the company has zero customer support. I tried phone and email but never spoke to anyone. So I compare this device to that one. The installation is the same for both. Pretty simple and clear guide. The quality of the device is - with the exception of the water tap - almost the same for both. The Watts faucet is much sturdier, taller and better quality (aquasana seems cheap; look at the photos, Watts is big). The Watts machine whistled during use and although I had disassembled it I couldn't get to the part that was the problem. No noise from Aquasana. All other parts look about the same. The Aquasana comes with a good set of parts for installation in a variety of environments. Usage - Watt benefits from the height of the faucet. I immediately exchanged the faucet for an increasingly high-quality one. A water bottle or medium-sized saucepan will not fit under the Aquasan faucet. In fact, there is no other difference. The water consumption in watts was at least as good, the water quality about the same, the customer support is zero at watts. At least Aquasana responds to emails. All in all I would buy these again but if Watts had customer service I would buy them for the higher quality and higher faucet.

Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
