We were having trouble with our old Cisco E3000 so we replaced it with an Asus RT-n12b. What mistake! I'm a very experienced IT professional with years of experience at a company whose name begins with the letter "A". I am computer savvy as is my wife who is a professional IT expert and has the right to buy a huge amount of computer products and she is angry about this horrible hardware. No more ASUS stuff for us!Router worked for about 20 minutes.Lost signal. never mind So I rebooted the router, which in turn required another waste of installation time. I tried updating the firmware, the instructions are not instructive. So I decided to call support. And it was another nightmare. The support phone number is not listed on the website! So I tried live chat support and the girl on the other end had a screw brain. She couldn't understand the problem. Finally, desperately, I cut them off and called the only support number I could find. It was the wrong number but the gentleman gave me another number to call. I had to play a telephone circus before finally being placed on the "hidden" service. The people in the service department were great (with one exception), it's just terrible. When the friendly support people got me back to work, I thought my problems were over. NO! It fell out again. No wifi signal. Okay folks, this goes back to Revane. I've had enough.
