I pay for 100Mbps wired Internet from Spectrum. With this product I almost reached the stated speed. My new (2018) smartphone with 5GHz WiFi connected to the same router/modem can connect at 100Mbps so the connection is good. I seem to get around 75-85Mbps with this product depending on which outlet I plug it into. Keep in mind that the wiring in your home is not designed for this digital traffic. So it's unrealistic to expect it to behave like a purpose-built Cat5 or Cat6 network. Understanding these limitations and costs, I am very happy with the results and would recommend this product. If, like me, you can only use Wi-Fi when absolutely necessary but are unable to connect to a physical Cat6 network, this is a worthy alternative if you understand the trade-offs and set your expectations accordingly .
