I went to Las Vegas to visit a friend and was having trouble finding his house. I've tried several phone mounts when using maps. They always fell. And the more I thought about it with the possibility of going to other cities that I don't know that well, I decided on a GPS. I'm glad I did. A few months after I received it, I went to a concert in northern Utah and met up with another friend. I chose Garmin as the first 9 out of 10 were gramins. This is an amazing GPS. I love the split screen on the freeway when you're about to exit. A lot of people have said they don't like that there are no redirects or anything like that. It does not bother me. The mount is pretty solid. It's only crashed a few times for me. Possibly because I didn't properly clean the mount or windshield before using it. But once it's there, it's going nowhere. Some of the other great features are yet to come. I like to know that there will be a gas station, groceries, etc. soon. Once again very helpful in a place you are unfamiliar with. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good GPS at a reasonable price. The investment is definitely worth it.
