Aesthetically this is a very attractive unit. I like the lines and colors of the device itself. I like the fact that it has a matte screen finish and doesn't have the glare of other monitors that are reflective and leave fingerprints. Physically, it's a bit heavier than other portable monitors at 2 pounds, but considering it has a 10,800mAh battery. seems easy. The device makes a very well-made, solid impression. Buttons and switches have good travel and click when pressed. The monitor has excellent colors and I was pleasantly surprised at only 250 nits. Before I got mine I saw similar 300 nit products and started to worry that it wouldn't be bright enough. As soon as I turned it on, that fear went away. Turns out it's bright enough to work at 50-75% brightness, so there's room. With it you can not stand in direct sunlight, but on a sunny day it will be visible in the shade. A semi-solid contact is required to register a touch on the touchscreen. I mean, it doesn't register the lightest of touches (like my Samsung Note 8, which can be disappointing), which I think is good for such a large touchscreen. Touch response is good, with very little to no lag, and works well in combination with my Surface Pro 7. Audio isn't the loudest, but it's enough for listening in a room with little to no ambient noise. With an inflight movie, you could probably do without headphones (not that you want to ;-). The lid is attached to the back with magnets and serves as a stand when open. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place even if you press the screen. I've used others that slip constantly with normal use. Charging is going straight and the power supply works as expected. The only issue I have is that it only charges from the internal battery when the device is on. That way, if I want to charge my phone using the monitor's internal battery (and don't necessarily want to use the monitor), I still have to turn on the monitor to start charging. I don't think he ever said it could be used as a portable charger. Claimed battery life is 5 hours via USB-C. I was at a movie marathon and had 5 hours and 13 minutes before I had to hook it up. Oh, and I used headphones. Basically I am very satisfied with the device! I would recommend it.
