Pros: - Plug and Play: Plug the power cord and the other into your Samsung phone (for Dex) and it will start working right away with no connection issues. - Brightness: Very bright and easy to change. but the colors aren't too washed out and with a little calibration it looks pretty decent - OSD: touch control and intuitive, not all settings save 100% of the time but it only takes a second to adjust something. if it gets damaged. For a week of use, I only reset some settings once. Disadvantages: - Touchscreen: a bit sluggish, with a lot of input lag and low edge sensitivity. - Display lag: The display on USB-C is not very responsive and has quite a lot of input lag. This, combined with the slightly unresponsive touchscreen, makes using it as a tablet pretty annoying for anything but simple touch inputs. Latency over HDMI is noticeably better, even when using a USB-C -> HDMI adapter. No built-in battery: This seems relatively easy to implement given the hardware already built into the device and the empty space. at the top rear of the device. This would take this ad from "decent" to "amazing". Not really a problem or complaint, but something to consider. It's relatively easy to use and my fairly large 26,000mAh battery keeps the monitor going for over 50 hours. (using USB-C to HDMI on my phone) Overall: 7/10. A little pricey, but it's sophisticated software. The touchscreen is adequate, but I wouldn't highly recommend it if you intend to use it for gaming etc. Other thoughts: I don't really have this problem, so I'm not giving it any marks. It's significantly more expensive than similar products, but the difference in software makes up for it. You can get a monitor for $150 with similar features, improved touch, latency, etc., but it will have other quirks such as: B. Non-touch OSD and Plug and Play connectivity issues. If you leave your monitor plugged in 100% of the time and only use it as a secondary monitor/touchscreen, this really isn't for you. If you're using something like Dex (like me), that's great, and a touchscreen can really help with navigation. The speed with which it recognizes the phone and activates Dex is pretty impressive. Another quirk, but it may be due to the implementation of Dex in my phone/Samsung. If I just plug in my phone it mirrors the screen and I have to plug another cable from the power adapter into the monitor to actually open the Dex. There won't be any docking points here as this could be a limitation of my phone or my phone's software, just something I thought was worth mentioning.
