I have a cat that likes to chew on my rear derailleur so I needed some kind of cover to keep it from ruining my bike. First, this cover arrived in a HUGE box the size of a movie poster. The fabric itself is a bit thin. I couldn't figure out how to attach it to the bike so I ended up throwing it over the derailleur - it covered most but not all. I have a big bike but I don't think the gear sizes are different but it doesn't fit the whole gear train. I tried to adjust it and the fabric tore very easily.
