Ports work but laptop won't charge

The product works as a VGA, Ethernet and USB3 adapter. It does not charge a Lenovo 920 laptop. It seems that no power comes through.As a connection everything is fine on battery power but useless as a docking station where you need to charge your laptop.For some reason I have to reconnect the ethernet cables several times to allow the OS to see the network same HDMI adapter problem on multiple devices from other brands.

Compatible with Mac or Windows PCs and laptops with a USB 3.1 Type-C port, such as the new 2015 MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel, Lenovo Yoga 900 13", Dell XPS 13". 9350, Dell XPS 15 " 9550 and ASUS Zen AiO PC
