Edited review. The ends of the shock absorbers are simply screwed onto the shaft. If necessary, they can be reversed so that the angle plug is at the desired end. As they come the end of the stem at the end of the shock is shaped like a shroud that fits the body of the shock but aside from looks I don't see any functional difference. However, this does not justify their construction.
