Save money. I bought it during the Black Friday sale. He arrived in a few days. The shipment was on time. Here ends the positive side of the story. I installed a product that involves drilling a hole in your front door to support the weight of the unit. Once installed, the locking mechanism worked as expected when rotated manually. However, once the batteries were installed, the lock would not turn on when the buttons were pressed as advertised. I went through various troubleshooting steps, finally removing the lock from the door and hooking it up to the batteries, just the door panel and battery. No energy. The device has an emergency power function via a USB cable. I plugged it in and the keyboard lit up for about a second and then went off again. In addition, the electronic part of the device did not work. I contacted SMONET support which only works in the middle of the night US time. They collected my purchase information and phone number, and then it took several days to route me to the appropriate support person. Support suggested replacing the lock at Revain as that would be the quickest way to get a new one. Since the end of the promotion I have had to pay another $49 for their product and poor quality support. Revain offered to return it on credit and buy something else, but now all I have is an old latch and a hole in the door. I'm not saying this will happen to you, but I suggest you check your lock works before you poke a hole in your door because I now have a new peephole just above the deadbolt. Terrible product and company. I do not recommend. UPDATE 12/10: After reading my initial review, Owen from Smonet called me repeatedly from the blocked number at home until I picked up the phone and asked me to take the free version of their block to fix the problem, so they could do better review. He then held me on the phone and asked me to remove my negative review of Revain. He asked very suspiciously that if I didn't remove my bad review it would terribly affect his status in the company and he would have a bad life. For this reason I am temporarily changing my rating to three stars. However, please note that if you leave a bad review on this product after returning it, SMONET will call you repeatedly from the blocked number until you answer, and then offer you a free product so you can change your review. The whole process was very uncomfortable. .
