I have Silk Purple PLA, the first "silk" PLA I've ever used. i look great It sticks well, it has a great shine, it's exactly what I wanted. The filament itself is different from other PLA/PETG filaments I've used. It's hard to describe, but it feels a bit "stretchy". If you push it through the nozzle you can see it pull back instead of getting an even 0.4mm thick strand to form a thicker strand. I suspect that's why I originally had traffic jams. If it pulls back, it will swell too much and get stuck. When the retraction is off, there is no jamming. (Temperature 205Β°C, speed 20 mm/s). I also think the same feature gave an uneven/bubbly print for the ledges (see photo on the table) while I had no problem printing a straight-sided cat print.
