I rode the old aftermarket kit on my 95 Caprice for too long. It started causing all sorts of problems. At first I just swapped out the plugs and that helped, but it soon became apparent that while the cables looked fine, they had problems. Working with this model is hard work. Pulling a wire out of the safety bar on the driver's side isn't too bad, but on the passenger's side it's enough to break you, which is why it's so expensive to do it at the shop (much easier on a lift, I am certain). However, I did it (self-taught). Big difference in quality between ACDelco wires and what I had there. Thicker construction, better fit etc. Fixed more issues than I thought caused by the old wiring harness. At the time of purchase, Revain had the best price yet. I have shopped. Even with a coupon and another bonus for purchasing from a specific local store, I couldn't do better than Revain. This job is too difficult to settle for less. Be sure to replace the ignition coil wire and if possible get a real high temp wire harness with a gray stripe (not the cheapest stuff) to protect the wires.
