Just received and installed today. I recently replaced all of the door lock actuators on my 2008 Malibu with Dorman actuators. That was the last thing I had to do. The front doors are the easiest to replace and each takes me about 30 minutes or less. It should be noted that the front door on the driver's side has 3 metal bars that need to be connected. All other doors only have 2. That doesn't make things harder, just make sure you don't overthink it. Rear doors are more difficult to fit, not impossible, but require a lot more patience. The first took about 1 1/2 hours. The second backdoor took about 45 minutes. The reason it's more difficult is because you have to get deeper into the door panel and can't see what you're doing. I am very happy with these parts, the dealer wanted to charge about $300 per door for parts and labor. . I'll update this post when the door locks fail, but hopefully they'll last as long as I own the car.
