Review on Sling Media SB370 100 Slingbox M1 by Christopher Clearfield

They forced you to use the desktop app. so they can run TWO big ads that can't be turned off. They have removed M1 from the web interface so no ads are blocked. The old (ad-free) Slingplayer desktop app I've been using for years won't let you connect to the M1. If you want a phone (phablet) app. You have to pay 15 dollars. Then if you want it (on the SAME ACCOUNT), say on a Nexus 7. you have to PAY again for the TABLET app - another $15. Even apps for phones and tablets have ads. ironically a large banner ad selling you the M1!?!?!?I've been a supporter of Sling products since their inception. I'm done. Sell my old Pro-HD devices out of disgust for the company.
