Review on Origin8 Pro Threaded Headset - 1 Inch Steerer by Ron Collins

I really wanted this headset to work on my 1992 Specialized Rockhopper but the stack height was too high for my current fork height. The top nut on my fork would only catch 1 1/2 threads. This is probably because the closed bearing rings are taller than the old open bearing rings. Check and verify the stack height of an existing headset and compare to this one. This headset conveniently comes with 2 different sized fork crown bushings for the lower bearing set. One is 26.4mm inner diameter and the other 27mm for JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) bikes.
