I have used a manual Easypress and several types of ironing pads and only pressed a few types of items. Our vinyl equipment consists of both a Cameo 3 vinyl cutter and a simple press, which is basically a portable large iron. While Easypress was fine for drawstring shirts, sweatshirts, and backpacks, pressing vinyl onto baseball caps was dangerous. We tried using a glass bowl designed for the oven and put a hat with a heating pad around the bowl. Then we press on a light press with a large flat hot iron, wearing heat-resistant silicone gloves. This method resulted in underheating, pressure or burn marks on hats and more heavily curled vinyl. But with this heat press from Wookrays I can easily remove the 12" x 15" square and install the curved hat piece and bracket. This setup allows me to instantly close the hat with a single pinch and release the clip motion. After 15+ successful headgear heat transfers and 20+ sheet masks, I can confirm this is a stable tummy. I have also used a thinner and more complex type of heat transfer vinyl such as holographic foil, striped flock that feels like suede, and thick brick HTV stock for shirts and sweatshirts. As far as t-shirts go, this press is a workhorse, which performs a solid transfer compared to my easypress iron. There is enough space on the large rubber mat to cover XL hoodies too. The swivel arm is so convenient that I can safely place a garment on the pillow without having to place the Easypress on the pillow or singe my arm hair on the clamshell model. The push button is solid and allows me to dial in the right amount of pressure before using the clamp.
