Review on 25812 Controller Air Compressor System by Jason Yancy

I bought this to use my secondary airbags in my 2008 Scion xB. The combination of both works great. It took quite a while to install because I wanted everything to look as good as possible. I ended up with my seats and some trim to complete the installation. I also made my own gauge capsule because I couldn't find a good place to mount their gauge. I ended up installing the compressor in the trunk area in the plastic that normally holds the socket wrench (almost perfect, just needs to poke a few holes in the plastic) and running all the wiring and hoses under the carpet. I changed the configuration a bit and didn't add extra tees with extra Schrader valves and used a single metal tee instead of a plastic tee as most of the leaked comments seemed to be connected to plastic push-in fittings . I've used a pipe cutter to get nice square cuts and after a few months there have been no leaks. Actually, I only have two small complaints: the kit had too many wires on the harnesses (and they told you not to cut it), so I glued the wire spools where I could place them, and the lamp sockets didn't fit. close to the caliber. Otherwise it helped a lot because I work as a carpenter and I usually have the back seats down and tools and materials fill all the space behind my front seats and now my car feels a lot better and I can adjust my airbags for uneven loading. and all that extra weight. I'm so glad I bought this set.
