Replacing the plastic headers with these aluminum ones is a good idea but other reviews mention poor quality O-rings that melt when heated. I chose to replace them with stock GM O-rings prior to installing these elbows just to be on the safe side and hopefully save me some trouble later. However, there has been some confusion as to which P/NO rings to order - some GM parts lists for my 2001 F-body swapped the large and small P/NO rings. You will need a quantity (1) of the larger GM O-ring, P/N 24502846 and a quantity (3) of the smaller GM O-ring, P/N 25537068 (AC Delco, P/N 15-34066). . I ended up having to order multiple times to get the correct o-rings. To prevent others from getting the wrong ones, I've attached photos showing the correct o-rings and corresponding part numbers. I also replaced the 2 O-rings P/N 10263197 on the ends of the heater hose that connect to the tensioner just in case this car is 15 years old (3rd photo). damaged the thin teflon coating on the o-rings so I wet both the elbows and the o-rings before installing them and then was very careful. Hope this helps someone else to purchase this item.
