I'm a retired ASE certified auto technician and have used and sold many better lubes over the years and when I used Prolong I noticed smoother shifting and a slightly stiffer transmission lock-up I think. that this lubricant acts on pump seals and moving hydraulic parts by slightly increasing the pressure. So at such a low cost, it's a good idea to use it if it helps a lot or only works a little. So the weather works a little or a lot. Hey its low cost and the gearbox can cost you thousands after parts and labor. Even the smallest difference is worth it.
