Review on Long-lasting, Energy-efficient Halogen JC Type Light Bulb Set - 12 pcs, G4 Base, 12V, 20W by Cheryl Bailey

I ordered it in mid-October 2011 and immediately installed the first bulb in my table lamp. It blew up last night when I tried to turn it on. It's certainly better than the few days some people state in their reviews, but it's a lot shorter than what I'm used to from halogen bulbs. The last bulb I bought for this lamp lasted over 18 months, not just 5. On the other hand, that single bulb also costs about the same as this 12 pack. Assuming the other 11 stay the same, I'd still come out on top in terms of value. And I see that they are now available even cheaper than I ordered them. So if you can get them, you'll almost certainly use them up quicker than you would with higher quality bulbs, but they're so cheap that they'll probably be worth it in monetary terms anyway.
